About ElecSimHub

ElecSimHub is a free, no-sign-up browser tool set for LV/MV power-system design: you draw a single-line scheme and the calculation engine returns real load flow, IEC 60909 short-circuit results, equipment withstand checks, harmonics and resonance, protection coordination, a drawing set, an economics case and a chaptered design report. It is built for electrical engineers, EPC contractors, design institutes and owners doing feasibility-level comparison and quick verification.

What it is

Four things work together: a drag-and-drop simulator/design canvas, the engineering calculators inside the product catalogue, a deliverables workspace that turns a scheme into documents, and this site’s scheme comparison and read-only share pages. The front end only renders what the engine returns — it never invents a number.

Who it is for

Electrical engineers sizing transformers, switchgear, cables and compensation; EPC and design institutes that need a fast feasibility check before detailed design; owners and procurement teams that want an indicative bill of materials and price before requesting a formal quotation.

How the calculation works

Every study runs on a separate deterministic engine service. The browser sends your scheme, the engine returns structured results (conclusions, assumptions and a meta block with the engine version and a parameter fingerprint), and the page renders them. No calculation request is sent until you press Run.

Standards referenced

IEC 60909 (short circuit) · IEC 60076-1 / 60076-7 and GB 1094 / GB 20052 (transformers, losses, thermal ageing) · IEC 61000-3-6 / IEEE 519 / GB/T 14549 / ER G5/5 (harmonics) · IEC 60255-151 (protection curves) · IEC 60364-4-41 / GB 50054 / IEEE 80 (earthing and person protection) · IEC 61439 / IEC 62271 (assemblies) · IEEE 1584 (arc flash) · IEC 61082 / IEC 60617 (drawings).

Honest limits

The engine is a steady-state pre-sales simulator. It does not do time-domain transient or full electromechanical stability analysis; cable dielectric loss, harmonic additional loss and skin effect are not counted; resonance scans above 2.5 kHz are declared invalid; and there is no PDF export — deliverables are a self-contained HTML design document plus SVG / DXF / CSV. Results are scheme and feasibility level and are not for construction without review.
